THE COFFEE COLLECTION

A story of Wayanad, coffee & slow living

There are places you don’t simply visit.

You carry them with you.

For us, Wayanad is one of those places.

Mist settling over the hills. Coffee plantations stretching across the landscape. The quiet rhythm of mornings. The warmth of freshly brewed coffee. Sunlight filtering through trees.

The Coffee Collection by Dear Tomorrow began with that feeling.

Not with a trend, but with a place.

From the coffee plantations of Wayanad

Wayanad has always felt like a slower world to us.

Among its forests and hills, coffee plantations become part of everyday life — their deep greens, earthy browns and warm morning light creating a palette that feels almost timeless.

We wanted to translate that atmosphere into clothing.

So we looked beyond simply printing coffee onto fabric.

Instead, we explored coffee as a natural dye, allowing its warm, muted tones to become part of the fabric itself.

The result is a collection inspired by the quiet beauty of a Wayanad morning.

Warm. Understated. Unhurried.

Coffee, transformed into colour

Coffee has a life beyond the cup.

For this collection, coffee is used as a source of colour, creating the soft brown and warm neutral tones that define the collection.

Natural dyeing is inherently different from conventional dyeing. The colour can shift subtly depending on the fabric, dye bath and process — making each garment feel slightly individual.

Alongside coffee, we use Katha (Catechu), a traditional natural dye derived from Acacia catechu, to create deeper earthy brown tones.

It is this combination of natural colour, texture and variation that gives the collection its quiet character.

No loud colours.

No unnecessary embellishment.

Just colour that feels at home in the landscape it came from.

Linen made for slow mornings

The Coffee Collection is crafted using linen and cotton-linen fabrics — chosen for their natural texture, breathability and effortless movement.

Linen is particularly suited to warm climates because it is lightweight, breathable and naturally moisture-absorbent. These qualities have made linen increasingly popular for everyday clothing in India’s warm weather.

Cotton-linen brings another dimension — the familiar softness of cotton combined with the airy character and natural texture of linen.

Together, they create clothing that doesn’t ask you to choose between comfort and elegance.

You can wear it slowly.

Move in it.

Travel in it.

Spend an afternoon at a café in it.

And still feel beautifully dressed.

The beauty of understated luxury

We believe luxury doesn’t always have to announce itself.

Sometimes, it is simply:

A fabric that feels beautiful against your skin.

A silhouette that lets you move.

A colour that becomes more beautiful in natural light.

A garment that doesn’t belong to just one occasion.

The Coffee Collection was designed around this idea of quiet luxury — clothing that feels considered without feeling overdone.

Pieces you can reach for in the morning and continue wearing through the day.

Comfort, with intention.

Inspired by Wayanad. Made for everyday life.

The collection may have begun among coffee plantations, but it isn’t meant only for the hills.

It is made for the modern Indian wardrobe.

For slow mornings.

For coffee dates.

For workdays.

For weekends away.

For airport journeys.

For afternoons when you simply want to feel comfortable and put together.

Because the best clothes don’t just look beautiful.

They make everyday life feel a little better.

A slower way of making

At Dear Tomorrow, we believe clothing should have a connection to where it comes from.

That means choosing natural fabrics, natural dyes, small-batch production and timeless silhouettes instead of designing around short-lived trends.

Our approach is deliberately slower.

We make in limited quantities.

We work with natural colour.

We embrace the small variations that make naturally dyed fabric unique.

And we create pieces intended to stay in your wardrobe beyond a single season.

This is our version of slow fashion in India — less about having more, and more about choosing better.
